Comments: i was generous with my rating on this game only because i REALLY like Afterburner and getting this cart reminds me of my Father and I taking a trip to hollywood in a '67 VW Bus to get this in the middle of the week, on a school night, after my father already put in a full days work. i couldn't really fully appreceate back then, but we went through a lot to get this a couple of days before it's release date only to be disappointed. i pretended that i loved it after all the crap we went through to get it, but i could tell my Father was disappointed too, i don't think he ever played it, especially after seeing me take a rubber band to the arcade style controller to make the F-14 pull right for the first 15 levels... bummer, i still love the arcade version though, the music, the action, it all gives me goose bumps! seriously!

Comments: this is the game i wanted to love the most in the 80's but hated due to the difficulty factor. i love the world and the characters, i wish there was an anime based on it (as gay as that sounds) never the less, i loved this game, in my opinion this was SEGAs answer to Mario not Sonic, but they reallt dropped the ball after this game. the series could have been so much more, Alex could have been their flagship character, but no, we have a hedgehog... i am done :(

Comments: first crack at a Zelda clone... not bad. this game was a lot of fun, the graphics really poped out at you and looked nice. the music was kinda cool too. this is another title that could have grown with SEGA but faded away, what a shame.

Comments: i got this game after visiting with my great grand parents. my great grandfather gave me a $10 bill and my dad pitched in the rest. i was soooo hoping for a RoboCop type game only to be dissapointed once again. however the game was much like a game i really enjoyed (Zillion) but fell short of that, i never played this game to completion.

Comments: this game literally chokes me up when i think about it. i loved this game, the graphics and sound and secret elements, it was perfect for its time. but that isn't why i get so emotional about it. My Father (who passed away 10 years ago) would play this game for hours in my room, he would crack open a brew and get busy, i would fall asleep in bed with him playing this, what a way to get put to sleep. this was my father's favorite master system game and for that reason it will always be one of mine as well. plus it doens't hurt that it is a totally solid awesome game.

Comments: i read some of the previous comments on this game and i don't know, this game isn't really in the exact same league as Metroid. Metroid is the king of this style of game, but this was a nice attempt. got this for christmas and beat it in about 4 days. to beat it i had to come up with nick names for the symbols... king tut, glasses, eyes, weirdo, plug etc. it worked for me. the whole reason i even asked for this game was based on the anime picture of JJ blasting you with the SEGA light Phaser. who knew that the american SEGA light Phaser was based off the Zillion Anime... wow!

Comments: oh heck yeah! 1-800-USA-SEGA, i would call just to sit on hold and listen to the videogame hold music. i asked some chick over there how i could get a copy of the music (they were playing what sounded like an arcade version of alex kidd, there never was, only the lost stars... whatever) she told me the music was on an e-prom and not for sale, i was bummed. back to the game. i got this because my dad's friend bought it and couldn't figure it out so he let me borrow it after about 15 hours into it i did't want to give it back. my dad bought it off of his friend for me, i think it was like $50 bucks but we bought it from the guy for $40, he was happy and i was MEGA happy. this game beat the shit out of Zelda as far as RPG quality went in the 80's. i love Zelda too, but this game had it all, you had your team of characters to fight with you, managing their wepons and armor etc, great story, seriously GREAT story. awesome graphics, perfect music. 3d mazes, yes SEGA was busting out with 3d style mazes way back then. this game changed me, i craved RPGs after this non-stop till street fighter II came along then i went fighting crazy! i would give this a 10+ of it were posible.
